* Propper way to get up

* Stand for a count of 10

* March in place 4 - 6 marches

* March across the ice

This class is designed to create a fun environment for young skaters to get comfortable with the ice without fear. The instructor(s) will work with group as a whole to help instruct that parent on how to best help their skaters fall down without fear and correctly, get up on their own and march around the rink with smiles.

The instructors will use the form of play combined with technical and traditional teaching skills used in other classes. Once the skater can complete all the skills listed above and are able to separate from their parent, they will move into the Tot 2 level class. Parents skating this class with their tot must be able to skate as the idea is for us to help you instruct your child.
